2nd July, 2019
Today is the 4 year anniversary of the death of Cecil the Lion killed by American dentist Walter Palmer for a trophy in 2015.
His murder caused public outrage around the world and brought awareness to the plight of African wildlife.
His death started my journey as an animal rights campaigner and I continue to fight for our iconic wildlife on the brink of extinction because of this outdated barbaric pastime for wealthy cowards who choose to partake in it.
Cecil's death shone a light on the extent of this cruel so called sport and myself and many others have heard the call to fight and be a voice to end trophy hunting for good and help save our wild world.
